Our Mission
Primary Health Clinics of Mississippi exists to provide relationship-centered internal medicine to adults in Central Mississippi — the kind of care where your physician knows your history, your family, your goals, and your concerns. We believe that continuity with a trusted physician is one of the most powerful determinants of long-term health outcomes, and we have built our practice around that belief.
Why PHCM Was Founded
Central Mississippi has long faced a shortage of primary care physicians — particularly internists who specialize in adult medicine and chronic disease. Dr. Olaleye founded Primary Health Clinics of Mississippi to address that gap directly: to bring board-certified internal medicine and obesity medicine expertise to communities that need it, delivered in a practice model built on continuity, trust, and genuine physician-patient relationships. The two-location model — Newton and Meridian — was designed intentionally to serve patients across a broader geography without sacrificing the quality of care that comes from seeing the same physician every visit.

The Two-Location Model
PHCM operates two clinic locations — Newton and Meridian — on a rotating schedule. Both locations are staffed by Dr. Olaleye, ensuring that patients at either location receive care from the same physician. The schedule rotates to allow Dr. Olaleye to maintain continuity with patients across both communities. Patients are encouraged to check the current schedule when booking to confirm which location is seeing patients on their preferred date.
Referral & Care Coordination
PHCM evaluates and manages many common adult medical conditions. When the complexity of a condition warrants specialist involvement, Dr. Olaleye coordinates referrals and ensures your primary care record reflects the full picture of your health. Specialist care and primary care work best when they are coordinated — and at PHCM, that coordination is part of the service.
