Meet the Doctor
Board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Serving Central Mississippi for approximately two decades.
"Good health is the foundation for a happy life — and I believe every patient deserves a physician who takes that seriously."
Dr. Samuel Olaleye is a physician board certified in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, with approximately two decades of clinical experience serving patients in Central Mississippi. He founded Primary Health Clinics of Mississippi with a straightforward belief: that patients in Newton, Meridian, and the surrounding communities deserve the same quality of physician-led, relationship-centered care available anywhere in the country.
His approach is grounded in listening. Before recommending a treatment plan, Dr. Olaleye takes time to understand a patient's full medical history, their daily life, their goals, and the factors — biological, behavioral, and environmental — that shape their health. He believes that a diagnosis is a starting point, not a conclusion, and that the most effective care happens when patients feel informed, respected, and genuinely involved in their own health decisions.
Whether managing a chronic condition like diabetes or hypertension, guiding a patient through a medically supervised weight management program, completing a routine annual physical, or evaluating a new concern, Dr. Olaleye brings the same level of attention and care to every visit. His patients are not appointment slots — they are individuals with names, histories, and health goals that matter.
A Physician-Centered Approach to Primary Care
Primary care works best when it is continuous, personal, and built on trust. Dr. Olaleye's practice is designed around that principle — providing patients with a consistent physician relationship rather than a rotating roster of providers, and ensuring that every visit builds on the last.
Listening First
Every visit begins with a genuine conversation — not a checklist. Understanding the full picture is the foundation of effective care.
Evidence-Based Medicine
Treatment recommendations are grounded in current clinical evidence, adapted to each patient's individual health profile and circumstances.
Patient Education
Patients who understand their conditions and treatment plans are better equipped to make informed decisions and maintain long-term health.
Long-Term Relationships
Continuity of care matters. Dr. Olaleye aims to be a consistent presence in each patient's health journey — not just a provider for a single visit.
